Joshua Spencer
Sutton Post-doctoral Fellow

Joshua Spencer works primarily in metaphysics and philosophy of language. He is particularly interested in the metaphysics of material objects, space, time, modality and meaning. However, he has a wide range of interests and often thinks about the nature of fiction, free will, rationality, and various issues in ethics. Joshua has recently published "Holes as Regions of Spacetime" in The Monist and his paper "A tale of two simples" is forthcoming in Philosophical Studies.
Professor Spencer's office is located in 528 Hall of Languages, his office number is 443-5829. Professor Spencer's office hours for Fall 2009 are Mondays 11:30-12:30 & by appointment.
