Melissa Frankel works primarily in the history of early modern philosophy, with a focus on British Empiricism. She is particularly interested in arguments for and related to phenomenalism, including questions in the philosophy of perception and philosophy of language. She has side-interests in the philosophy of mathematics and feminist philosophy.
